i'm going to buy this mustang in august so i wanna add a supercharger to this car as this engine is a high compression engine, and it was build basicly for nitros shots, is it possible to add the supercharger or no, and if i have to recalulate the compression, what i have to change???

and sorry for the inconveinience

It depends on how big the super charger you want to put and how much boost will you be using.
if i was putting a supercharger on my engine i'd like to have it around the 9:1 mark to avoid any detonation and to allow me to run max ignition timming.
since you are going to use a supercharger, not a turbo, then you wont need the high compression.
the reason high compression engines are used in turbo hondas is to help the turbo spool faster, however the supercharger runs at the same speed as the engine and requires little spool up (root type only)
however if you are going for a centrifugal type , then it will be tricky, since it wont work till 4000rpm at least, the engine will be laggy till that rpm.
also you'll definetly want to change the cam , even though i donot know the exact specification of the cam (saying stage 3 isnt helpful at all) i can say that this has been an all nitrous motor.
first of all decide on which supercharger you will be using and how much boost, and how much HP are you expecting then i'll tell you how to get there

the cam lift is 0.507 inch/0.525 inch
there was a detonation before, and then it was fixed by doing something with the MSD
and i wanna go to supercharger (propably Vortech)and nitros shots
the injectors are 450 psi (i think so) coz the car was originally build for the drag race, but the owner faced some problems and i bought it now

so, can u tell me if i can keep it like this for street strip or it will be difficult 2 drive it?? (the owner used to drive it normally but it was so noisy

another thing.. i want to fit semi slicks tyres, how much it will cost me? and can i find it in shj??or it must be an order?

look at this table and check the high lift modular cams for supercharged engine

also you didnt tell me the duration of the cam which is as important as the lift
if you dont know it is always written at the front of the cam, but you will need to dissassemble your engine for that :(

thats a lot, almost too much for a supercharger

you'll definetly need to go less in case you want to make the most out of your vortec supercharger.

but are you making the car for dragracing only or will it be a street car?

because if it will be a street car then going too much with the cam will make it horrible to drive.

since its a manual then we wont need to worry about torque converters or anything like that.

don't waste money on a supercharger bro, you have a high compression engine and thats perfect for a big shot of nitrous
the 4.6 block is strong and can take close to 700 hp before it cracks, just retard the timing a little bit and run a 200 shot with race gas, the car will be in the 10s with a good drive inshallah

i would lower it to 9 or even 8.5 if you want to spray and boost the motor
Mazinger has a point about nitrous not being available all the time, but with that high compression motor and good fuel you can make a low 12 second/high 11second car off the bottle
